The Death of Joseph Barbera–King of the Toon

Joseph Barbera (of Hanna-Barbera) died today at the age of 95.

Over the last 50 years his cartoons have dominated the world of animation. From Tom and Jerry, to the Flinstones, the Jetsons, to my favorite, Scooby-Doo.

He may have left this world, but his legacy sure hasn’t. Just turn on the tube, and flip the channel … They’re there.
