Portland Protestor will Sue the City

A Protestor will sue the City of Portland over mistreatment.

While taking part in the World Can’t Wait demonstration in downtown Portland in October 2006, Ryan Dunn claims two officers grabbed him by his hair and by his long beard and dragged him. “I was slammed up against a wall and hauled away,” Dunn said. “I sustained an injury to my right middle finger. Other than that it was mostly shock and sort of emotional…distress over the fact that this had happened to me.”

“Unfortunately the police department seems Hell-bent on causing the citizens of Portland to feel uncomfortable expressing their opinion.”
