Richardson has recently done what the Bush administration hasn’t been able to do: negotiate deals with Darfur and North Korea. He is showing that his Presidency would be strikingly different than that of the current regime. The question remains whether or not he can become more than a novelty act and take on the parties front runners Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, and John Edwards.
I am not in favor of a complete and utter withdrawl. I fear for another Cambodia. But, Richardson has drawn a line in the sand, and the rest of the Dem’s are now obliged to take note.
