Virginia Tech and Iraq: Violence Continues

The killing that happened at Virginia Tech that ended the lives of 32 young students was a horrible act, and it seems to have rung a chord with the American Populous. And rightfully so. But, it is important not to forget that in the 3 days that we’ve been focusing on our own dead, over 200 Iraqi Civilians were also murdered. Last week it was 500, at least 21 of them were children.
If the impact of the massacre at Virginia Tech has been felt deeply by our nation, imagine the impact of the of the nearly 70,000 innocent lives lost during the course of the war in Iraq has had on theirs.

Suffering anywhere, is suffering everywhere.
