From a press release by the Georgetown University School of Medicine:
“Our current health care system is not prepared for responding to a growing segment of our community that has fallen through the cracks, making too much money for Medicaid coverage but not enough to afford medical care on their own,” said Thomas O’Toole, M.D., associate dean of curriculum at Georgetown University’s School of Medicine. “We need a better approach to connecting people to affordable health care and safeguards to keep them from becoming bankrupt trying to stay healthy.”
The hot issues of this election cycle are likely to be Iraq and Health Insurance. The latter being the number 1 biggest issue facing American’s on the Domestic front.
